Pirate bay is the remaining big site for torrents , since it is based in sweden it is more difficult that it would be shutdown than suprnova that just got killed, but you really never know
The Blonde Girl from the Old Navy Commercials
This is a blog note about a blog from ablogger that worships the model in old navy commercials, but I suspect that is just a marketing ploy.

The Wild World of Batwoman - A Brokedown Review: "I've seen this movie twice (which was an assault on one eye each), once on MST3K with Mike and the 'bots as a buffer and the second time without and I can tell you honestly that the movie was a struggle in any format. All I can tell you for sure is that somewhere in the world there is a couch with eight distinctive claw marks from my fingernails. I swore I would sit through this dreck no matter what. Of course, that was before I had seen it."
Wired News: I Want My Internet TV: "Next month, Adultinternet.TV officially launches with a lineup that includes reality shows, news, sitcoms and cartoons -- all with an adult twist. That doesn't mean that every host or actress is going to take her clothes off, but it does mean that adult pioneers are once again developing technologies that will change the landscape of entertainment as we know it"

Bloggers Boycott Sony - The Jason Calacanis Weblog - calacanis.weblogsinc.com: "Bloggers Boycott Sony
Posted Dec 3, 2004, 4:58 AM ET by Jason Calacanis
In case youve missed it, Sony is trying to take down long-time blogger, Jason Kottke, because he posted a tiny audio sample of a question from Jeopardy. OK, sure, Sony owns Jeopardy and they have the right to their intellectual property. We can all agree on that.

However, you could easily argue fair use for the audio clip because:

1. Kottke is not making money from thisit is not for profit.
2. It is not negatively impacting Sonys ability to make money.
3. It is only tiny percentage of the original work.
4. This use causes zero confusion in the marketplace (i.e. everyone knows Kottke is not Sony)."

Support CD: "I wrote the Windows XP Optimization Guide after being unable to find a comprehensive one online or at least one that I would consider comprehensive. I avoid using or recommending 'all-in-one' Windows XP Tweak programs since many blindly adjust settings that can cause future problems. My guide is aimed at getting the best performance out of windows without using any shareware or retail programs."
Optimize XP
Optimize Windows XP to improve both work and gaming performance safely. Windows XP's default configuration is far from optimized. This guide will help you improve your overall system performance. I avoid using or recommending "all-in-one" Windows XP Tweak programs since many blindly adjust settings that have no affect on performance and can cause future problems. This guide is designed to be performed top to bottom, in sequence since some steps are required to be performed before others. Before using this guide make sure your system meets Microsoft's Official: Windows XP System Requirements
